After a big breakfast we drove over to the National Park and signed up for a tour through a part of the caves know as “Frozen Niagara” There were over 300 steps up and down and some very steep section but well worth the effort. It took about 2 hours to go through. I saw some cave crickets and was not impressed. After that we went and had some lunch and then drove down to the Green River and boarded the “Miss Green River” for a 7 mile tour down the river. When we got back we crossed the river on the ferry and were planning to do a loop drive and get onto another ferry back across the river and home.....only thing was the second ferry was closed by the time we got there so we had to go all the way back the way we had come. Thank goodness the first one was open later. We got back to the trailer just after dark.

We purchased 9 new batteries for the boat and after tucking them in here and there in the truck and trailer we were ready to go. We decided to head to the Mammoth Caves in Kentucky. We had a hard time finding our campground but pulled in while it was still light outside.

After 2 nights in Canton we headed on our way to Jackson Tennessee for the most interesting night ever in a Wal-Mart parking lot. We had dinner first and then went shopping for a while. We turned in and went to sleep. About 3:30 AM everything went crazy.....I was awakened by people talking and cars running very close to the trailer.....looked out the window to see a van parked crossways near the front of the truck.....more cars pulled in......people talking......quick wake Colin up......he pushed the panic button on the truck alarm.....no one got excited......Security truck pulled up and left.....what the Heck!!!
Boy do I feel dumb, that’s right it was a shift change of the Sam’s Club employees......DAH!

Canton is famous for it’s once a month market of over 3000 stalls, inside and out. It is over 100 years old and started out as a livestock market but now they sell everything from puppies to antiques and everything in between. We managed to cover about 1/3 of the stalls and by then we were exhausted.

Heading Home Wherever that is
We left Driftwood RV Park at about 9:45. We had planned to leave earlier but we had no power to the slide so we had to unpack some stuff and find the loose wire. After lots of hugs and see you next years we were on the road.
We stopped at a roadside rest stop and had lunch, then carried on to Canton Texas. We pulled into The Hide-a-way RV Park at about 5:30.
