We stopped at the Welcome Centre just across the Texas State Line and picked up some literature on some of the places we plan to visit. That done we got back into the truck and drove a short distance and found a Camping World. We need to get some warranty work done on our fridge and were hoping to get it done while we waited.......not! It takes about a week for them to order the parts and then you have to make an appointment to have it done, and it takes about 1/2 and hour for the actual job. While we were there we checked out a booth set up for the "Thousand Trails campgrounds. If you listen to their 45 minute selling presentation you can stay in their campground for 3 nights and 4 days. We decided to do that as one of the campgrounds was on the way in Fort Worth. Only problem is we can't go till tomorrow so we have to spend one more night in a Wal-Mart.....actually we stayed at a Sam's club right next door.
