HOMEWARD BOUND
On March 30th we decided to get ourselves packed up and get ready to leave Texas. By dinner time we had everything ready to go and the truck hooked on.
Our friend Dorrace made us a great roast pork dinner with all the trimmings. Most of the people who were still in the park came to say good-bye.
Well.....we got talking after dinner and someone mentioned "Why don't you leave tonight, your all ready?" After thinking about how I wasn't probably going to sleep anyway, we both agreed we should leave that night. We drove for 3 hours and arrived on the outskirts of Houston. We parked at a Wal-Mart and called it a day. The next morning we headed in to Houston to do a few errands. We had to go through a construction site and picked up a nail in one of the trailer tires. While Colin went into Costco......the tire went flat. The tire place at Costco said they could not fix trailer tires so we put the spare on ourselves out in the parking lot.
By Monday afternoon we pulled into the park in Milton and dropped the little trailer, locked it up and headed back to Ohio to pick up our new trailer.
