Luke with his "Crab" Fridge Magnet.

Saturday morning we headed up to Barrie with the trailer in tow.

That's right! Since we didn't come back for Christmas we are having our gift exchange and Christmas dinner with Cort, Sherri-Lyn, Luke and Shelly and of of course the little 1/3, this weekend.

Cort moved while we were away and has a new house with a long enough driveway for us to park the trailer in.......just! We arrived, got the trailer parked ..... with a lot of onlooking by the neighbors. We got the tour of the new house which is much newer and much bigger than their old one. It is a two storey brick with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a nice big garage, which they did not have in their other place. They are pretty much settled in with only a few things left to sort out.

Sherri-Lyn and I went out to get the groceries for the big dinner and shortly after we got back Luke and Shelly showed up. These get togethers are always fun as there are 5 dogs and 1 cat between the three families. A real Dog Party!

Before dinner we opened out gifts. Colin and I both got golf stuff including a "Chip Putter" and yes it is exactly what it sounds like.......for playing the fringes of the greens......can't wait to try it. We also got a really neat Driver cover each. Colin's is a Corona bottle with a slice of Lime on the top and mine is a curly pink poodle. I got fancy colored golf balls and Colin got some really neat cheeses, hot popcorn, hot sauce and a package of Deli Salami, all very tasty!

Cort made some excellent beef and pork ribs for dinner along with corn on the cob and a Spinach salad. After dinner we played a new dominoes game which I renamed Mexican Train Wreck but I think it is really called Mexican Train Dominoes. It was fun but with 6 people did not finish till 3:00 AM. .......tired.....z-z-z-z-z
