FULL WORK FORCE
"Gropa" handing out treats!
Saturday morning Colin and I went down to the dock to mix the cement for the dock anchors. It gave us something to do while waiting for Cort and Sherri-Lyn to get up. While Colin was finishing with the cement I cleared a little more brush away from the shore line. Cort came down and helped me pile it up the hill.
We went up and had breakfast and then Cort and Colin went down to get the floor started on the shed.
By the end of the day the floor was just about ready and Colin and Cort had picked up the logs and the rest of the stuff for the walls.
Later on after dark Shelly and Luke arrived to round out the work force. It was interesting having 6 adults + a half and 5 dogs in the trailer.
In the evening there was some discussion about what Colin and I will be called by our new Grandchild. Since I have a dutch background we were thinking either Oma or Grandma. My lovely children decided that we could have the best of both worlds by calling us "Groma and Gropa" Not too sure about that one???
After we went to bed it rained really hard and I was worried that Cort and Sherri-Lyn would end up in the trailer but they stayed dry out there for the rest of the night.
