My neighbor Lorretta has been responsible for my latest passion. Last year I started by going to a "Mystery Quilt" Class. All they give you is fabric requirement and dimensions of all the pieces you have to cut out. Then you take your pieces to class at 10:00 AM in the morning and start putting the pieces together, you make blocks then put the blocks into rows and then finally you get to see what your quilt will look like. The lady who teaches the class also makes a really great lunch for everyone. It is a really great day of fun with usually about 15-20 Ladies.

My first one this year will be for my bedroom in the new house. Because in class we only make a double size and I wanted a King size I did not get it all done in class......I still need to finish it as I was busy with accounting but have all the pieces cut out.

The second one I did today I made just cause I like the fabric.....I don't know where it will go. I got it all done in class.....So much fun!
