NOW YOU SEE IT .......NOW YOU DON'T
Workers disconnecting the addition from the trailer.
The trailer is pulled out and is free.
The trailer with 1/2 the roof on top and the clothes line still on the back heading down the road. Here you can see the old entrance into the trailer from the addition.
Just the addition remaining, loaded onto the trailer and ready to go.
The site with everything gone.
This year the owner of our park decided to raise his yearly lease rates on the lots that hold park models and mobile homes. In turn neighboring parks have offered bonuses to move to their park. In many cases these bonuses more than cover the cost of having a unit moved to the new park. Our street alone saw the removal of 8 mobile units.
Many of these are old travel trailers that have had rooms built onto them. The movers come in and disconnect the mobile units from the additions and then move both pieces to the new location. Very interesting to watch. The one in the pictures was just down from us so I had a good opportunity to photograph the whole procedure. This one took 3 days but most are done in one day.
